Have you ever bought tomatoes from the grocery store in the winter? How did they taste? How much did they cost? My experience is that tomatoes bought out of season are tasteless and expensive! That brings me to this week’s topic: eating seasonally. Why eat seasonally? The short answer is that fruit and vegetables just taste better when you buy them fresh in their growing season.
