The weather finally feels like Fall, doesn’t it? What a blessed relief from the heat and humidity of Summer! The days are getting shorter and the nights longer as another year is winding down. Now is the season for apples, pumpkins, cranberries, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, hot cocoa, and chili. At our house, we are looking forward to the holidays.
As you begin to plan your own holiday celebrations, please keep The Wednesday Market in mind as a source for many of the items needed for splendid feasts. We have beef, pork, and poultry producers, as well as farmers offering dairy products and eggs. We have vegetables to serve as side dishes. We have herbs and spices, jams and jellies, and plenty of baked goods from the best bakers around. What about gifts? We have those, too, along with bath and beauty items. And, y’all know that Fall is an ideal time to plant bulbs, trees, flowers, and shrubs. So, make out your shopping list, and shop The Wednesday Market first!
