As some of our customers may know, I was out of town for several days during the past two weeks. While traveling I didn’t have reliable access to the internet. Thankfully, Sharon Fox came to my rescue to send out last week’s reminder to customers to place their orders. Sharon included the entire market’s product listing with the email reminder, something I don’t do. Although doing so was an “accident”, I think it reminds us all of a couple of important matters. First, it takes a village. Each of the volunteer managers of The Wednesday Market has specific duties that are carried out like clock work each and every week. The system works so well we almost never think about what the others do…..except when someone is absent! I have promised Sharon and Nelda that I’ll put some instructions down in writing for them to follow in the event that I ever leave town for so long. Secondly, I’m somewhat glad that all of our customers received a listing of ALL our products last week. Seeing that list is a reminder that The Wednesday Market offers a wide variety of items which are locally produced. If you are not in the habit of looking through our lengthy product list, it might be fun and interesting to peruse everything. You just might discover a new favorite item!

Special 4th of July Announcement
Good morning, and Happy 4th of July weekend!
The Wednesday Market managers have decided to take this week off in celebration of Independence Day. The Market will not open for orders tomorrow. Please plan to order again NEXT week, July 10 – 12.
For those customers who absolutely must have milk, please contact Sharon Fox, (404) 569-0582, and she will assist with ordering and share instructions with you regarding pick up and payment.
