Just in case you haven’t heard, there is a BIG college football game tomorrow night out in Los Angeles. The University of Georgia Bulldogs are taking on the Texas Christian University Horned Frogs for the National Championship. While I am usually a Georgia Tech fan (as I married a Tech man), I am cheering for the Dawgs and their chance for a repeat National Championship, and here’s why:
The University of Georgia Cooperative Extension Service empowers farmers, ranchers, and communities of all sizes to meet the challenges they face, adapt to changing technology, improve nutrition and food safety, prepare for and respond to emergencies, and protect our environment. UGA is the sponsor of Georgia 4-H. I, along with all of my brothers and sisters, grew up in the Pike County 4-H program. I am ever thankful for all that 4-H and Cooperative Extension invested in me during my youth. Truly my 4-H experiences shaped me into who I am today. As a grateful alumnae, I say GO DAWGS! Sic ’em! Woof, woof, woof!
