Tomato season is here! Peaches are also coming in, and the fig trees in our yard are loaded with fruit. Summer is my favorite season. What could be better than a simple white bread with mayo tomato sandwich, so juicy you have to eat it standing over the kitchen sink? Peach ice cream - who can resist? Too many figs? Make fig preserves!
