Blissful Bonbons
This grower has a photo album.
I offer hand-knit items for household, baby, children, and adult use, and for wearing.
I was taught to knit by my mother, two of my aunts, and my maternal grandmother 60 years ago. My favorite items to knit are blankets and afghans, but I have knitted and still knit sweaters for adults and children, slippers, booties, baby bonnets, hats, purses, dolls, and toys. I take pride in the quality and appearance of my knitting and I work consistently to find and re-knit any goofs that I might make while I try to pay attention to a TV show and work my knitting needles at the same time. :) I mostly knit with acrylic yarn and 100% cotton yarn which can all be machine washed and machine dried.
I also have sewn since I was in the 4th grade in 1964 and was a member of my elementary school’s 4-H club. Over the years, I have sewn my school clothes, work attire, and my wedding dress; I have sewn costumes for my children, and for adults to rent for their events. Now my sewing includes microwave bowl holders, carrying bags to attach to medical-device walkers or wheelchairs, and adult bibs. Most of the fabrics I like to sew with are cotton and cotton blends, but I utilize whichever fabric is most suitable for the item.
Watch for my knit and sewn items to appear in the Wednesday Market postings!
