Small sustainable family farm using organic fertilizers, homemade compost and worm castings. I use no pesticides or herbicides in my garden. I depend upon insect eating bluebirds, king birds and wrens as well as beneficial predatory insects to keep the ‘bad bugs’ at bay, and it works! I raise ‘red wiggler’earthworms and use their castings as a base to nurture my transplants and to fertilize my vegetables and flowers. I can’t decide if I would rather raise flowers or vegetables so I usually have LOTS of both! :-)
