Parker Pastures is a local organic farm that has been in production in Pike County for 12 years. We are passionate about providing nutrient dense food, permaculture and sustainable practices. We have a variety of products that we grow, produce and hand craft here on the farm. Honeywood Farms is one of our largest customers. We have grown to the point that we would like to share our products with the broader community. We are well known for our colorful organic soy free eggs, all kinds of produce including specialty tomatoes, specialty peppers (including rare super hots), sprouts and our fermented product line (kimchi, sauerkrauts, giardinaria, hot sauces etc.) Customers also line up in the spring time to purchase our unique variety of organic seed starts. We have organic seed starts available spring, summer and fall because we encourage seasonal eating and year round growing.
Parker Pastures also provides educational classes in our “learning garden” and events for homeschool groups tied to their current curriculum or topic of study.
Parker Pastures utilizes all organic practices and is currently a non-certified organic farm pursuant under USDA 7CR 205.101 but is in the process of achieving certification.
