Will YOU have a Fall Garden?

HI Wednesday Marketers!!

We are just about to enter the Fall/Winter Vegetable Season. Yummy greens, cabbages, lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, beet, sweet potatoes, the list goes ON!! WE at the Wednesday Market are looking for Farmers and Gardeners who would like to sell your surplus fruit and veggies through our market. And we would love to reward the hard work in YOUR garden because our online sales are guaranteed that you will be paid. Plus, you will pick and package only what has been ordered. No waste! Our Mission Statement is to encourage Agriculture in Pike County and surrounding Counties in order to create a Safe Food Network. We are all Volunteer run, and sponsored by The Pike Agri-Business Authority, A part of your local Government. No matter how big or how little your garden is, we have a space for you! So call me today at 770-584-5056 and I can tell you all about how the market works and how you can become a Grower. If you are new to growing and would like more info on how to be successful(!), Come to the Fall Gardening Class presented by Bob Westerfield on Friday September 14th at 11:00 a.m.-2:00p.m. Just mention that you are a Wednesday Market Member and your $5.00 registration fee will be PAID by The Wednesday Market. AND hey! You get Lunch FREE!! The class will be at the Pike County Extension Office at 74 Gwyn Street. Call them to let them know you will come 770-567-2010. Please Call by Sept 12th so Miss Debbie knows how many lunches to order ;-) Thanks for supporting local farms and local Farm Families that we all know and love!
