Healthy Granola Bars

Serves: 12 bars
Ingredients
1 1/2 cup
old fashioned oats
1/4 cup
chopped nuts I use almonds
1/4 cup
chopped dried fruit
1 cup
brown sugar
2 tsp
canola oil
1/4 tsp
salt
1 1/2 tsp
ground cinnamon
3 each
eggs
Step by Step Instructions
- combine oats and nuts and spread in a thin layer on a large cookie sheet and toast in a 325 degree oven for 15 minutes allow to cool
- combine eggs, cinnamon, salt, oil, and brown sugar until well mixed
- add flour, fruit, nuts, and oats to the wheat ingredients, mix well until all ingredients are moist
- line a 9 x 13 pan with tin foil, and spray with non-stick cooking spray, spread ingredients evenly in pan and bake in a 325 degree oven for 40 minutes
- allow to cool well and cut into bars, wrap individually, store in a zip lock bag in your frig, grab one every morning as you are running out the door
